With FunCakes sugarpaste you can easily mold or create different shapes and designs. It is also suitable for creating decorations. For 250g of fondant, add a teaspoon of CMC – Tylo FunCakes Powder and/or water if necessary. Knead well before use and spread on a thin layer of icing sugar.
About 500 g of sugar paste are needed to cover a round cake 20 cm in diameter.
- For best results, please follow these guidelines:
- The sugar paste should be at room temperature.
- Knead the fondant firmly until smooth and elastic.
- Sprinkle the work surface with a little icing sugar then roll out the sugar paste using a rolling pin until you obtain an even thickness of 2-3 mm. Rotate the sugarpaste a quarter turn to prevent it from sticking. Small cracks appear on the edges of the sugarpaste when you spread it? Knead it again firmly and repeat the process until the edges are smooth. The sugar paste is then ready to use.
