With this artisanal pastry quality preparation, you can easily make sponge cakes with a firm and airy texture.

All you have to do is add eggs, water and possibly lemon zest or FunCakes flavorings to the preparation to obtain a delicious, very homogeneous, artisanal quality sponge cake, which you can then decorate as you wish.

Preparation: See the table or visit www.funcakes.fr for proportions and cooking times. Preheat the oven to 175°C (convection oven 160°C). All ingredients should be at room temperature. Mix the mix, eggs and water in a bowl. Mix the dough on high speed for 7 to 8 minutes, then on low speed for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour the batter into a greased mold (between 1/2 and 2/3) and bake the sponge cake in the oven. Do not open the oven door during cooking! The sponge cake is ready when it is soft to the touch. Immediately unmold the sponge cake from the mold after cooking and place it on a dish so that the steam can evaporate.
